I have been practicing and studying Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 30 years. My practice has been one of Lismore's hidden gems for many years.  

 

After 4 years of full time study in Sydney, I was invited to be the personal assistant of one of the most competent lecturers of the college who was a famous Sydney Acupuncturist and who helped advance acupuncture in Australia for around 10 years in the 1980s.  

 

As well as training in China in 1984 at the Zhejiang Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Institute, in the beautiful city of Hangzhou, PRC, I was under the care and expertise of post-graduate full time training with the famous Dr Yang and his amazing team.

 

I undergo Continuing Professional Education training  in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  As well, over the years I have been expanding my knowledge and interests in other related fields, such as psychotherapy, counselling, psychology, the Arts and Humanities inclidng Philosophy,  nutrition, exercise and lifestyle.  

 

I initially got into acupuncture by stumbling across it after suffering for quite a few years from illnesses of unknown origins which left me tired, lethargic, incapacitated and feeling unwell most of the time.

 

Yet there was no known disease that western medicine could find or treat me for.  I was very fortunate to have had many acupuncture treatments whilst I was studying and from the very first one I started on my healing recovery.  It was through acupuncture treatment that I knew it was possible to live a life where I could eventually find my level of health and continue a healthy, happy and meaningful way of life.
 

These days we are all in the position of instantly or slowly losing our health.  Yet if we value our health and it is your priority right now, or if you want to achieve optimal health, then acupuncture is one of the safest and in my mind one of the best and most reliable choices to achieve your health potential.  It is the X Factor of contemporary medicine that is natural, is truly affordable, and can take you all the way back onto your own life path.
